Button Sewing Foot – Accessory of the Month February 2024

Quick and easy button sewing with a special button sewing foot…. Who would have thought? Hand sewing buttons is a thing of the past! This foot has two bars that attach to the foot holder to provide extra stability and has a textured, rubber sleeve to hold the button securely in place while sewing.

Simply select a zigzag stitch, adjust the stitch width to 3.5mm, drop your feed dogs, place your button under the foot (ensuring on the zig and zag motion the needle enters the holes on the button) and commence sewing. It’s that easy!

Your machine may have built-in sewing applications, making this easy task even easier. You can also use the button sewing technique to decorate quilts and other craft projects, helping them to stand out by giving them a 3D effect.

Ultra Glide Foot – Accessory of the Month January 2024

Moulded from a special resin that allows easier sewing of sticky materials, the ultra glide foot moves smoothly over faux leather, ultra suede, vinyl and even plastics on the ultra glide needle plate. This non-stick attachment glides along with no drag so you can sew on these surfaces just like they were regular fabric.

Lap-Seam Foot – Accessory of the Month December 2023

This foot can provide perfect looking, and durable seams on medium-heavy weight to heavy weight fabrics. You can create beautiful lap-seams without ironing. The 9mm Lap-Seam foot gives a finished lap-seam width of 9mm, simply using the guides and curves of the foot. The fabric folds neatly with a light guiding touch and the wide 9mm flat felled seam is created by the groove on the underside of the foot.
