This is our entry level hero computerised sewing machine – in other words the strong, silent type. It’s built on fundamental essentials and packed with useful features that you will love.
For starters, there’s a huge number of stitches to select from. With a total of 50 stitches, you’ll find every stitch you need, from basic piecing to advanced home décor. The large stitch menu is conveniently displayed on the front of the machine for easy reference and arranged by essential stitches, hemming stitches, decorative stitches and even heirloom stitches. Plus, you also get three automatic buttonhole stitches to suit various fabric types, button sizes and styles.
At the touch of your fingertips, you can easily choose your preferred stitch number and it shows up on the backlit LCD display. Step on the foot pedal or use the start / stop button if you prefer, and off you go at up to 700 stitches per minute – ideal for those who want to sew more in less time.
The adjustable speed slider lets you set the maximum sewing speed the machine will work at, so choose a slower stitch speed if you need better control or move it all the way down if young sewists are having a go.
DC2150 also comes with a superior feed system, consisting of 7-piece feed dogs for smooth feeding of all fabrics. Those that love to applique can select the stitch and work away on the different layers to create a beautiful masterpiece.
